Where, oh, where?

Before Elder Robarts can share his mission call with family and friends (once it arrives), we need to guess where he is going. Please comment with your guess.

(Not that it always happens the way you ask, but he did say he would prefer English speaking USA.)

and be released just before the Kentucky Derby. I will go pick him up and we will go to the Derby together. (Maybe as guests of one of his converts?! If you are going to dream....)

I wouldn't mind another trip to D.C. either!

(Not that this is all about my travel dreams or that I will be fortunate enough to be able to go get him. I am still sad that I didn't get to go get Miriam. Going back for David was a rare and wonderful treat I had never dared dream of. Thanks again, children!)

    German speaking Pennsylvania

  17. The top secret 'spin the globe and see where it stops' process said Madison, Wisconsin. Well, first it put him in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, but we'll say that one didn't count.

  19. I think Andrew will be a Great Missionary anywhere he is asked to serve. I really hope he is asked to learn another language. Hopefully one that will help him in his future here at home! But if he is sent state-side , I guess I would guess New York!! Good luck Andrew in where ever you are asked to serve! Cyndi Welge

That is neat. I have never met Barbara or Andrew yet (Hope to someday!) But when I saw this photo of Andrew, the first thing that came to thought was Chicago, and then second was NM :) GOOD LUCK ANDREW, savor that moment. May I add something? Once those papers come in that mailbox, you know 'who' fully knows what a great man you are and pulls out all of his tools. You will do great. You know what to do. Jeff

  26. I predict that it's not wherever you had a dream about.

    Bulgaria.

Or I hope you get called to my old mission, the England Birmingham Mission.

    I also guess Idaho.

  27. Yeah, Andrew!!! Um, err...Elder Robarts! :-)

I am sooooo excited for you!!!! Yikes...what I miss when I study over the weekend and ignore my emails in the spirit of academia!

I'm still working on my prediction for where you'll be serving...wherever it is, I am sure you will serve with your whole self, and that's what matters! It's incredible to think how they call missionaries, but I have no doubt that it is where the Lord wants you to be-for yourself and for those you serve.

Yeah!!! I just keep saying that!

David & I would love to be there when you get to open your envelope. And hey, we don't have work or school on the 16th! But we do have a choir performance on Sunday the 15th. We'll be glued to our phones and emails to get the updates as they come in, so hopefully we'll get to 'be there' for you even if we're not there. ;-)

You're in our thoughts and prayers,
    Teresa
