Meeting in the Milk Aisle

I ran into the Stake President today at the grocery store. Almost literally.

I guess he was just Alan Fisher then, shopping list in hand, dutifully checking off items.

Before I said anything past, "Excuse me" and "Hi, there!" He said, "Pretty soon now" or words to that effect.

Andrew's papers did not come back and have to be re-submitted. Phone calls were made, the information supplied, and the delay was fairly minor.

President Fisher said probably a couple of weeks, maybe 3. I THINK he said that they are in the assignment stage, or something like that.

He also said Andrew is a good boy.

Yep, I know. Actually, a good young man.

Delayed Again

Twice now, I have thought that Andrew's papers had been submitted and he would be getting special mail soon.

About the time we were thinking that a big envelope would be arriving from Salt Lake, Andrew got a phone call instead. From the Stake President. Apparently some small bit of medical information was left off one of the forms.

Fortunately, it was available on another form, so after a brief phone conversation between Andrew and the SP, we AGAIN think that his papers are on the way in.

Looking forward to a family conference call around the end of February or early March.

Tonight, Wednesday, he is attending his first Ward Missionary meeting.
