Games with the Kids
I'm blogging a little bit late today because I've been playing games with one of my nephews and two of my nieces. It's been lots of fun, but it has kept me away from one of my obligations. I suppose I need to work on my priorities. That's been something of a theme in my life lately.

Sometimes it is hard to know which is the top priority. Taking care of kids is pretty high. Time with and fun with family are high, too. Just because it is fun does not mean it should be a low priority. On the other, hand there are things we do need to do. We will spend pretty much our whole lives trying to find the balance. Don't let it discourage you. As long as you are thinking about it and trying, I think you are good. It's when we start making excuses instead of sincerely considering what we should do that we get into trouble.
Thanks, Mom. I'll keep working on it, but I'll try not to let it discourage me when I feel I'm not doing as well as I'd like to be.
